Vermont police are searching for a man they consider to be a person of interest in a killing in Windsor.

Around 7 a.m. on Monday, the Windsor Police Department responded to the report of gun shots at 43 Main Street. A female victim, later identified as 22-year-old Molly Helland, was pronounced dead on scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed Helland had recently ended her relationship with her boyfriend, 27-year-old Jason Kendall. Police are seeking Kendall for questioning.
