Police Seeking Suspects in Armed Robberies

Boston Police are warning residents to be on alert after two armed robberies that happened last Wednesday

Boston Police are warning residents to be on alert after two armed robberies that happened last Wednesday at Jamaica Pond, and in one incident, the victim was tied up.

In both of these are robberies, the suspects are described as two black Hispanic men in their early 20s, one with a gun the other with a knife.

The robberies happened last Wednesday, Sept. 24, one at 11 p.m. and the other 11:25.

In the 11 p.m. robbery, the victim was walking with three of their friends on the footpath around Jamaica Pond when they were approached by the two suspects. Both suspects showed their weapons.

One victim told police one of the suspects placed his hands on their shoulder and demanded whatever personal items the victim had. Boston Police say the suspects then searched the other victims for other possessions and took off on foot.

Then 25 minutes later that same night, a male victim was approached by the suspects. The victim was walking alone on the footpath with his bike. Again the suspects showed their weapons but this time they forced the suspect into the woods and robbed him. The two suspects then took off on foot. According to Boston Police the victim was "bound to a tree."
