Police are investigating the stabbing of a University of Massachusetts Dartmouth student that took place Thursday night.
The 20-year-old man was stabbed during a fight in his apartment on South Cedar Dell Road, according to UMass Dartmouth Police, who say they responded just before 11:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Witnesses say a gun was shown during the fight.
