Scene Clear After High School Bomb Threat

Hamden, Connecticut, High School was evacuated as a precaution after someone called in a bomb threat at 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, according to school officials.

The students had been moved to the ice rink and the bomb squad responded, swept the building and determined that the scene was clear.

Police did not allow parents in to pick up their children, but some said they understood.

Students were dismissed on time as of 1:45 p.m.
