Authorities are investigating two separate reports of shark sightings off the coasts of Hull and Duxbury, Massachusetts.
The Hull, Massachusetts, Harbormaster is investigating a report of a great white shark sighting by a civilian. That person claimed they saw the shark about one mile off the coast of Nantasket Beach.
A second report of a shark sighting was received close-by in an area with a lot of seals. A patrol boat was dispatched to Duxbury Beach in Duxbury, Massachusetts, to investigate.
The Duxbury Fire Department says to swim at your own risk in waist-deep water only.
