Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, say a Massachusetts man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Route 37.
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Ryan Barta of Somerset, Massachusetts.
The crash happened at around 9:40 p.m. Thursday. Barta died at the scene.
Barta was wearing a helmet, but police say they believe speed was a factor.
The accident is still under investigation.
