Verizon Protesters Gather in Boston

Nearly 40,000 workers have been on strike since April 13

Verizon workers in Boston, Massachusetts gathered at the Westin Copley Place on Tuesday morning to continue to protest the outsourcing of jobs.

According to the worker's union, the Local 2222, the protesters plan to protest Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam as he speaks at the JP Morgan Technology, Media and Telecom conference.

Nearly 40,000 workers have been on strike since April 13 and are fighting back against the company's plan to outsource jobs.

McAdam makes $18 million in compensation a year and workers are protesting the cuts he plans to make.
