Police say a woman who was seriously hurt in a 2-car crash in Springfield, Massachusetts, has died.
Responding officers arrived at the intersection of Catherine and McKnight Streets on Sunday. Fire officials say the woman had been driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse when another car hit the side of her vehicle.
The woman was extricated from her car and taken to the hospital. Officials say she was having a heart attack when paramedics arrived.
A passenger in the woman's car and the driver of the other car were also hospitalized. They are expected to survive.
WWLP-TV reports police confirmed the woman's death Monday. The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
Her identity hasn't been released.
