Is Massachusetts' Charlie Baker the Most Popular Governor in America?

The governors of Connecticut and Maine didn't fare quite so well

Massachusetts' own Charlie Baker is the most popular governor in America, according to a new national poll.

The poll, conducted by Morning Consult, surveyed voters in all 50 states to see how they feel about their governors. Baker received a 74 percent favorability rating, the highest of any governor in the country.

On the other end of the scale, Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy and Maine Gov. Paul LePage both fared poorly, with 36 and 39 percent approval ratings, respectively.

New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan has a 57 percent favorability rating, and Vermont's Peter Shumlin and Rhode Island's Gina Raimondo both came in at 46 percent.
