(NECN) - Jim Brett of the New England Council and John Hailer of Natixis Global Asset Management looked at a prediction this week that has democrats very nervous.
Nate Silver predicted a Republican takeover of the US Senate, but he does not think Scott Brown will be part of that.
“I think he’s right in the sense that the six seats could be picked up by Republicans. Most political pundits say that. I think he’s also right that the race for Scott Brown in New Hampshire is going to be an uphill battle,” Brett said.
“If the Republicans can continue to go more towards this moderate, centrist type of message, which they have been trying to do, they could pick up seats,” added Hailer.
