Mass. Gov. Patrick: ‘We Have a Lot of Cleanup Work to Do'

(NECN) - Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick addressed the media after meeting with people who were staying at a shelter in Marshfield following the blizzard.

The Governor looked at when power would be restored as well as cleanup efforts thus far.

"It's going to take a little while to pick it all up and put it back together, but the patience and the spirit of the people I've met inside the shelter here is really quite extraordinary."

Gov. Patrick said that through his tours, he's seen that many large limbs, trees and wires are down. He said that most major roads have been cleared at this point, but many secondary roads still need to be plowed.
