(NECN) - NECN meteorologist Nelly Carreno says a tornado watch is in effect until 8pm for most of Vermont, including the following counties: Addison, Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Rutland, Washington and Windsor. These storms could contain torrential downpours, lightning and damaging wind along with the possibility of an isolated tornado.
