(NECN) – Meteorologist Matt Noyes continues to track Hurricane Irene for us, which is set to hit the Bahamas tonight.
Around 9:30 p.m., an eye developed at the center of Irene, and conditions at the center of the cyclone indicate that the hurricane is strengthening.
Wednesday will be a day of gradual but steady strengthening.
It’s important to keep in mind the day five 250-mile error.
