(NECN: Anya Huneke, Bristol, VT) - There are a number of power problems across New England as a result of the storms. Thousands are in the dark across the six state region. The worst damage occurred in Vermont.
Friday began with rain and more rain making a soggy mess for Vermont. A flood warning was issued for many areas, including eastern Addison County, where roads, including 116 and Carlstrom in Bristol, were closed.
The New Haven River ran precariously close to the bridge above it, and flooded many properties. Emergency officials are warning the public to use caution.
