Peter Howe was on the Business Beat to discuss a very troubling audit of the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
It was recently discovered through the audit that Boston developers owe millions of dollars to the city.
“This is a lot of people that didn’t get housing. This is a lot of money that other tax payers had to pay because people were cheating the city and not paying the money that they clearly owed,” Howe began. “It’s also incompetent and potentially there’s a little corruption there in terms of who doesn’t get bills in the mail.”
Howe also discussed the latest on casinos, how oysters could help clean up the proposed Everett site, and a story that Bay State wine lovers are toasting.
