Snow and cold may be in the weekend forecast, but there's one New England fun spot where it's warm, and the surf is up.
In Nashua, New Hampshire, the first-in-the-nation indoor wake surf competition is happening Saturday.
"I grew up on Winnipesaukee. I grew up on water, so I wanted to add a water attraction," said Lori Greer, the owner of Surfs Up. "I was wanted to learn to surf, but I have this thing about sharks."
That excludes the company's mascot, Finny.
"We wanted to sell fun," said Greer. "That's the best thing in the world is selling fun."
