Police in Dennis, Massachusetts, are seeking the public's help in locating a pickup truck that hit a school bus on Friday morning and then fled the scene.
Around 7:55 a.m., Dennis Police said they responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Old Main Street at the intersection of Route 28 in West Dennis. Upon arrival, officers learned that a First Student school bus had stopped at a stop sign on Old Main Street when it was struck from behind by a white Chevrolet pickup truck with ladder racks. The operator of the pickup backed up following the accident and fled north on Old Main Street.
None of the children on the bus were injured. The bus sustained some damage to the rear bumper but was able to leave the scene and continue on to its destination.
