Car Goes Over Embankment in Leominster, Mass.

(NECN) - A woman is in the hospital Tuesday night after her car crashes into an embankment in Leominster, Mass.

Police say she was driving on Water Street, when she went over the guardrail, sliding at least 100 feet into the embankment.

Investigators believe the woman was speeding at the time.

She was taken to UMass Medical Center, but her condition is not known at this time.
