(NECN) - Red Sox owner John Henry is looking beyond baseball for his next business endeavor. Henry's New England Sports Ventures group is buying the famed English soccer club Liverpool.
That's in spite of the fact that the club's current American owners don't want to sell.
They say the $477 million offer undervalues Liverpool. But the club's board of directors has agreed to the sale and says it will take legal action to force the takeover.
