Second Arrest Made in Shooting of MA Officer

(NECN) - A second arrest has been made in the shooting of a Woburn, MA, police officer.

Twenty-one-year-old Hector Baez was taken into custody Thursday night.

Authorities say forensic evidence links him to the scene of the September 6 crime.

That day, Woburn police officer Robert DeNapoli responded to a robbery at Musto Jewelers. He was then wounded in a shootout.

A second suspect, 25-year-old Antonio Matos was also hit. He remains hospitalized.

Authorities are still looking for other suspects.

Officer DeNapoli was released from the hospital days after the shooting.
