Teen Found Mutilated in Milton, Mass. May Have Fallen From Plane

*12:15 p.m. update: Milton Police say there is no evidence that Tisdale fell from an airplane*

(NECN: Alysha Palumbo, Milton, Mass.) - It's a bizarre twist in a mysterious missing persons case, where the mangled body of 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale of North Carolina was found last week on a Milton, Massachusetts street.

We've learned the FAA has asked Massport officials at Logan Airport to investigate whether Tisdale may have stowed away in a plane and then fallen to his death.

Logan spokesman Phil Orlandella says Massport officials are looking at flight tracks over the area in Milton where the body was found.

Orlandella says that is, "exactly the area where planes lower their landing gear" while descending into Logan.

This would match with an unconfirmed report they received that Tisdale may have hidden in the wheel well of a plane and fell out.

Orlandella says Massport is now trying to figure out which flights flew from North Carolina to Boston between when Tisdale's father reported he last saw him at 11:30pm Sunday and when his body was found on Brierbook Street in Milton 9:30pm Monday.

According to Massport's website there are about a dozen flights he could have been on that day.

Milton police have not commented on these new developments.

The Norfolk County District Attorney's office would not get into detail, but said it is investigating every possibility regarding how Tisdale's body was found here in Milton.
