When police raided a multifamily home at 30 Smith Street in Torrington, Connecticut, on Wednesday night, they expected to find drugs, but ended up seizing a cache of weapons and made what they are calling one of the biggest busts in city history.
Inside the home of Daniel Agosto, a 37-year-old with a history of convictions in New York, police found pure cocaine, crack, evidence of heroin sales and more than $2,500 in cash, police said.
They also found seven handguns, four rifles, three shotguns and more than 40 rounds in a safe.
