An elderly man was struck by a car in Manchester, New Hampshire, Friday evening.
Preliminary investigation revealed that an 85-year-old man was crossing the intersection of Tarrytown Road and Auburn Street when he was struck by a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Thomas Ameen of Manchester.
The pedestrian was ultimately transported to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.
The crash remains under investigation. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
