A driver lost control of her vehicle Tuesday morning, crashing through the front of a store in Burlington, Massachusetts, according to police.

The two people in the SUV and others in the store were unhurt in the crash, which happened around 10:45 a.m. at All Eye Care in the Burlington Mall.

Witnesses said the driver was zigzagging in the parking lot before the crash.

Police said that the crash was an accident and that the he driver, an adult woman, was operating with a learner's permit. No charges were filed.

"It was this really loud noise," said Dr. Dzenana Idrizovic, the business' owner. "It almost sounded like an earthquake."

Glass shattered everywhere and display cases were knocked over.

Store employees helped usher the people out of the SUV. Witnesses say the driver, who was panicking and shaken up, got out of the vehicle first. Her husband followed. Neither was seriously hurt.

"First thing was to make sure everybody was safe," said Idrizovic.

There were several customers and patients inside the shop, but fortunately, no one was browsing the display cases in the area where the vehicle came through.

The business is closed for repairs but hopes to reopen on Friday. This time of year is busy, with many people trying to use up their insurance benefits before the new year.

"Very frustrating and scary," said Idrizovic. "It's just a pain to deal with this as opposed to just just seeing my patients right now."

The neighboring Relax the Back store was also closed after the crash.
