A 17-year-old who ran away with her boyfriend in Maine and was seriously injured in a car crash in Oklahoma after a police chase, has died from her injuries and her boyfriend will face a murder charge, according to the Portland Press Herald.
The death of Collette Boure was confirmed by a relative Tuesday morning.
Alexander Meyers, 17, of Portland, is expected to be charged with second-degree murder in the death. Meyers was driving the vehicle.

Boure's disappearance was reported Oct. 13, and Meyers' was reported on Oct. 21.
The teens were believed to be together in a 2014 Toyota Corolla with Maine registration reading 21155T, but it was not known if they had left the state.
Monday, however, the Press Herald reported that Boure's father, Michael Grindel, was contacted by Oklahoma authorities, who said the girl had been seriously injured in a car crash after a police chase.
Meyers, according to Boure's family, was not injured and was taken away from the crash scene in handcuffs.
Police said the teens were speeding in Oklahoma and when an officer tried to pull them over, they instead sped off, leading police on a 40-mile chase.
