Authorities say a man has been found dead after a fire at a makeshift shelter in Keene, New Hampshire.
Police and firefighters responded to a wooded area Wednesday morning where they say a fire at a makeshift shelter had already been extinguished.
Authorities found the body of a man inside. New Hampshire State Fire Marshal identified the man as 46-year-old Russell Holden on Thursday afternoon. The cause of death was due to smoke inhalation and the manner of death was accidental.
Investigators believe the fire started in a burn barrel and spread to the rest of the shelter.
