The free Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will be located on the Esplanade along the Charles River on July 4th. The concert begins at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 10:30 p.m. (There will be a concert only on July 3rd at 8:30 p.m.)

The city of Manchester, New Hampshire, will hold its Independence Day celebration at Arms Park on July 3. Entertainment will be provided by the 39th Army Band beginning at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.)

Fireworks in Hartford/East Hartford, Connecticut, have been postponed until July 11 due to weather. They will take place on the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford and Great River Park in East Hartford at 9 p.m.

The BankRI Independence Day Celebration kicks off on July 4 at India Point Park in Providence, Rhode Island, at 7:30 p.m. with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Pops. The fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

The annual 4th of July Festival in Portland, Maine, will begin with The Scoops Ice Cream Festival from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 4 (rain date is July 5). The Patriotic Pops concert starts at 7:20 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:20 p.m. over Casco Bay from Portland's East End Promenade.
