Arrest Made for Selling Drugs Out of Store

A Springfield, Massachusetts, store was raided for drugs on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of one individual.

A Springfield, Massachusetts, store was raided for drugs on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of one individual.

Officers received information that drugs were being sold out of "People's Choice" at 904 State Street in Springfield, prompting an investigation. Detectives set up surveillance, made drug transactions, and talked with informants, resulting in a search warrant of the store.

According to police, the search yielded over $17,000 in cash, 2,560 grams of marijuana, 111 Oxycodone pills, packaging material for heroin, 34 glass "crack pipes," a digital scale, three packages of filters for crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Khari Crittendon, 42, of Springfield was charges with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, violation of a drug free school zone, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and possesion of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
