The Essex County district attorney's office has released the identity of a teenage boy found fatally stabbed over the weekend at a Lawrence, Massachusetts, park.
Spokeswoman Carrie Kimball Monahan said Jose Alexander Aguilar-Villanova was found lying unresponsive in the grass at O'Connell South Common Park at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police believe the teen was staying in Lawrence when he was killed.
He was found behind a bench at the park, which is located at the intersection of Market Street and Union Street South.
State police assigned to the district attorney's office are investigating along with Lawrence police.
