A flight leaving from Logan Airport for Palm Beach, Florida, had to return to the gate prior to takeoff on Monday night due to a security situation.
A sweep of the plane and nearly 100 pieces of luggage revealed nothing hazardous.
"While we believe the threat to be non-credible, the safety of our customers is our first priority," JetBlue Airways spokesman Sebastian White said. "We are cooperating with law enforcement officials who determine the appropriate security response."
Massachusetts State Police said Flight 321 to Palm Beach was carrying about 135 passengers when it returned to the gate shortly after 9 p.m.
The flight was cancelled and the passengers were taken off the plane. They will be rebooked by the airline.
State police said they are not releasing any information about the nature of the threat to protect the integrity of the investigation.
