A driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Dec. 11 in Worcester, Massachusetts, will be charged in the crash, polilce said Monday.
Sixty-year-old Bryan Beardsley of Worcester was struck and killed at the intersection of Grafton Street and Wall Street. He was taken to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center and pronounced dead.
The driver, 51-year-old Stephen Santo of Worcester, left the scene, but police say they were able to identify his Mack truck by reviewing surveillance video. Since being identified, police said Santo cooperated with the investigation.
On Monday, police announced that Santo would face charges for motor vehicle homicide, operating to endanger and failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
