Newton, Massachusetts, has been named as one of the 10 best cities in America for raising a family.
Livability.com has released its annual list, and Newton has placed No. 3 for 2016.
Newton is known for its good schools, safe and historic neighborhoods and for its close proximity to Boston.
The city is comprised of 13 small villages, each with its own personality.
Newton has also consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. Money magazine named Newton one of the best small towns in 2012, and Aneki.com named it the safety city in America.
Rockville, Maryland, takes claim to the No. 1 spot, followed by Chandler, Arizona, at No. 2.
