Boston Police say a man in his early 20s was shot and killed Thursday morning in the city's Roxbury neighborhood.
Police arrived to the scene at 67 Winthrop St. Thursday morning. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the shooting happened around 4 a.m.
There is no word on the age or identity of the victim.
Police say they're actively investigating.
This is the city's ninth homicide of the year, according to the Boston Globe. There were 14 homicides by this time in 2014.
A witness also told the Globe that he heard six gunshots and screaming, followed by someone shouting "No! No! No!"
