Students at a Southbridge, Massachusetts, high school and middle school building have been cleared for dismissal after the school was on lockdown Wednesday.
Authorities say all students and staff are safe.
School officials say the lockdown was prompted when students alerted a school resource officer after possibly seeing a student with a weapon.
The alleged student was found and there was no weapon, officials said.
