Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, have arrested a second suspect involved with the robbery of a 65-year-old woman.
Jerald “JJ” Leith, 26, was arrested on Wednesday around 1 p.m. There was an outstanding warrant for his arrest, charging him with robbery.
On August 20, police say a woman was approached from behind as she walked into her apartment building. She was pushed to the ground and her pocketbook was taken after a brief struggle. She sustained a cracked bone in her foot, in addition to other scrapes and bruises, from the incident.
Leith will be arraigned Thursday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua Division. A second suspect, Brandon Bernard, 35, was taken into custody on Tuesday for his role in the incident. He was released on bail and is due in court in September.
