Police Investigate Death of Woman Following Maine House Fire

Police say there is no indication of foul play

Authorities in Maine say they're investigating the death of a woman who was found following a house fire in New Sharon, Maine.

Police said Tuesday they found 59-year-old Shaina Shaylin-Begin, who lived alone in the residence.

They say her remains have been taken to the medical examiner's office in Augusta.

Police say but there is no indication of foul play. They say the fire was called in at approximately 2:48 a.m. on Saturday.
