A New Hampshire teen was arrested Wednesday for impersonating an officer after police received a report that someone was wearing a New Hampshire State Police jacket and a gun at a local ice cream shop.
New Hampshire State Police said they received a report at 11:30 a.m. of an individual impersonating a police officer. The caller advised that the suspect had just left the King Kone on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, New Hampshire, in a blue Ford Explorer. The individual was reportedly dressed as a police officer, wearing a police jacket with New Hampshire State Police patches on the sleeves and a handgun on his hip.
With the assistance of Merrimack Police, Chance LaCasse, 19, of Merrimack, was located in his vehicle in the area of Bedford Road and charged with impersonating a police officer.
