Suspect Sought in Alleged Road Rage Assault in Vermont

Police in Berlin, Vermont are seeking help in locating a man who allegedly assaulted a victim in a fit of road rage on Thursday.

The victim, whose name has not been released, reported being tailgated by a Blue Volkswagen Golf until he let the car pass. After coming to a stop at the intersection of Vermont Route 62 and Airport Road around 8 a.m., the man in the Volkswagen left his vehicle and allegedly assulted the victim.

The suspect is described as a male with blonde hair, 5-foot-10 and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored T-shirt and blue cargo shorts when the alleged assault occurred.

The victim said that several bumper stickers of a "goat," all in different colors, were on the back of the Volkswagen.
