Authorities on Monday identified two passengers killed in a rollover crash in Winthrop, Massachusetts over the weekend, as well as the driver, who is charged with driving under the influence.
Massachusetts State Police identified the victims as Kathryn J. Adelstein, 28, of Winthrop, and Madeline L. Lund, 29, of Beverly.
Police also identified the driver as John Fannin, 30, of Winthrop. He is charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide and operating under the influence of liquor.

Fannin was expected to be arraigned Monday at East Boston District Court.

The flipped Mitsubishi Eclipse was resting on its roof at Winthrop Shore Drive near Neptune Avenue after the crash was reported to Massachusetts State Police around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Lund was pronounced dead on scene. Adelstein was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead, according to police.
The driver was also taken to Mass. General with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
