A top-selling plant-based sandwich will soon be coming to Dunkin' restaurants nationwide.
After successfully teaming up with Beyond Meat over the summer, Dunkin' will be bringing its Beyond Sausage Sandwich to more than 9,000 restaurants beginning Nov. 6, the Canton, Massachusetts, company announced Monday.
Customers have the option of getting the plant-based sausage sandwich on an English muffin or with egg and cheese.

As we continue to transform our brand, we're proud to use our platform to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the great taste and benefits of plant-based protein," Dunkin' Brands Chief Executive Officer and U.S. President Dave Hoffmann said in a statement.
Dunkin' is one of several fast food companies that are offering Beyond Meat products, including Subway and Del Taco. Another plant-based meat company, Impossible Foods, has its burgers being sold at Burker King.
Compared to Dunkin's regular Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, the plant-based sandwich is said to have 29% less total fat, 33% less saturated fat and fewer calories, according to Dunkin'.
"We are excited that everyone who runs on Dunkin' now has the option to make a delicious plant-based sausage sandwich part of their day," Beyond Meat Founder and CEO Ethan Brown said.
Dunkin' said that, while the plant-based sandwich does not contain animal sources, they "can't guarantee that there will be no cross-contact between products or ingredients."
The company says there are 20 other vegan items on the menu, including hash browns, bagels, oatmeal and various beverages.
Dunkin' customers looking to try the Beyond Sausage Sandwich will be offered free samples at participating locations Nov. 8 and 9 from 8 to 10 a.m.
