Three people were injured in a violent multi-vehicle crash Monday night in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Police responded to the area of 859 Willard Street around 8:30 p.m. for a crash involving three cars.
One of the vehicles was demolished, essentially wrapped around a tree. The 29-year-old driver had to be rescued from his car, and a witness tells NBC10 Boston the man was conscious and alert.

State police say that driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive.
The two other drivers involved, both women, 60 and 55 years old, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A fourth car that was in a parking lot was somehow damaged in the crash.
Granite Street was closed in both directions at the Braintree line while the scene was cleaned up. It has since reopened.
People who live in the area say it can be a very dangerous stretch of roadway.
State police say speed is believed to be a major factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
