Driver Killed in Crash on I-93 in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire

A driver was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash on I-93 in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.

Police responded shortly after 1:30 p.m. and found that a Pontiac Vibe and a Jeep Cherokee had collided.

According to police, the driver of the Pontiac lost control while driving southbound, crossing the median and hitting the Jeep in the northbound lane.

The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.

The Jeep's driver, Linda McCullough of Warwick, New York, was taken to Littleton Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State police are investigating the crash. Witnesses are asked to call (603) 846-3333.
