Police in Hingham, Massachusetts, say they have located an 82-year-old man with Alzheimer's who had been missing on Wednesday.
Authorities say John Kelliher was last seen around 2 p.m. at the Linden Ponds Retirement Community.
Police had been looking for a black 2013 Lexus RX with Massachusetts plates reading "9663WE." The vehicle, belonging to an employee, was reported stolen from the same complex. Police say Kelliher was "very likely" in the Lexus.
That vehicle was located at about 6 a.m. Thursday when a motorist saw it stuck in a snowbank in Taunton and stopped to help and called the police. Authorities said Kelliher was driving but drove away before police arrived.
He was located safely a short time later at Brockton High School and taken to an area hospital for an evaluation.
