Hundreds of Prescription Pills, Loaded Firearm, Cash Recovered in Roxbury

A 69-year-old man was arrested in connection to the search, according to Boston police

Hundreds of prescription drugs, high capacity magazines and a loaded firearm were recovered in Roxbury after Boston police executed a search warrant.

Larinso Myers, 69, of Roxbury, was arrested Thursday following a search in the area of 2875 Washington St. In addition to the pills and firearm, officials found more ammunition, cash and an electric stun gun during their search, according to police.

Myers was charged with unlawful possession of firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of high capacity feeding device and five counts of possession with intent to distribute.

Authorities said Myers is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court but did not say when. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
