Registered Sex Offender Arrested for Exposing Himself to Children on School Bus in Middleborough, Massachusetts

Wayne Haskell is charged with two counts of open and gross lewdness

A registered sex offender who allegedly exposed himself to children on a school bus in Middleborough, Massachusetts, earlier this year has been arrested on two counts of open and gross lewdness.

Wayne Haskell, 49, of 293 North St., Bridgewater, was arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday afternoon and ordered held on $100,000 bail.

Middleborough Police said Haskell allegedly exposed himself to students riding a Middleborough Public Schools bus in the area of South Main Street on March 10 and again on March 17.

The March 10 incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. The suspect was driving a light-colored SUV and reportedly exposed himself to children on the bus while stopped at a traffic light.

The incident was later reported by a parent and then to police for further investigation.

Haskell is a registered sex offender who has been charged with similar offenses on 11 previous cases in Brockton, Rockland, Hanover and Norwell.
