    Suspect in Deadly Dorchester Stabbing in Custody

    Police have charged Ramon Rodriguez-Delgado of Boston's Dorchester neighborhood with the murder of 77-year-old Marcelino Perez.

    A man has been arrested and charged in the stabbing death of a 77-year-old man last month in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.

    Marcelino Perez of Dorchester was stabbed to death on the evening of July 26. Monday, police announced that 41-year-old Ramon Rodriguez-Delgado of Dorchester had been charged with murder.

    Perez was found in his Shandon Road apartment with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Rodriguez is expected to be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
