A couple found dead Christmas morning in a parked SUV in Maine were the victims of a homicide, police said Saturday.
Autopsies confirmed that 35-year-old Eric Williams and 26-year-old Bonnie Royer suffered from gunshot wounds.
The victims were found around 3:30 a.m. in Williams' SUV, parked on Sanford Road, a dirt road in Manchester. One of the victims called 911, and officers discovered the bodies near the Augusta line.
Williams and Royer lived together on Easy Street, less than a mile from where the bodies were found.
Police are looking for anyone who had contact with the victims on Dec. 24 or 25.
Anyone with information is asked to call (207) 624-7076.
