It was Wednesday afternoon on the Riverwalk in Amesbury, Massachusetts, when two sisters say a man dropped his shorts and exposed himself.

"It's absolutely disgusting," said Pam Maliszewski, who saw the girls moments after the encounter. "They were just kind of shaken up, like really weirded out by the whole thing."

Investigators say the man is believed to be in his late 20s, in good shape, with short hair. He was wearing grey gym shorts, a grey or blue shirt, sunglasses and a dark-colored baseball cap with a red emblem, possibly a Red Sox logo.

He had a small black and white dog with him.

"It's really scary," said Sharon Judd, who regularly uses the Riverwalk. "We moved here because we thought it was a nice, quiet peaceful area, and that's what we've found so far ... but it's disturbing that might be occurring."

Police conducted an extensive search when they got to the scene, but by then, the man was already gone.
