Tight Race for Mass. Governor

Democratic political analyst Mara Dolan discusses a close race between Martha Coakley and Charlie Baker.

With a month to go before voters in Massachusetts elect a new governor, polls continue to show a tight race.

Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker are neck-and-neck.

With First Lady Michelle Obama scheduled to visit Boston to campaign for Coakley, Democratic political analyst Mara Dolan joins NECN to discuss the status of the race.

"She is far behind in fundraising, but they're about even in the polls," said Dolan. "Michelle Obama is very popular, she'll help get out the vote, not just among Democrats, but among women, who like Michelle Obama, and Martha Coakley is strongly ahead with women."
