For beach homeowners and beachgoers, erosion is a serious subject.
For more on the subject, we were joined by Steve DeSalvo, treasurer at the Plum Island Foundation.
He said the foundation’s goal is to protect the beach of Plum Island in Massachusetts.
DeSalvo said one goal is to fix the jetties which slow down beach erosion.
He said there needs to be more regular dredging cycles of the Merrimack River, which will add to the project cost.
